International Student Identity Cards (ISIC)

The International Student Identity Card is the only internationally recognized proof of full-time student status, and is valid in 70 countries, including Canada.

 

The ISIC provides access to student discounts on domestic air travel at Travel Cuts (Univ. Shops Plaza or www.travelcuts.com), a 35% discount on Via Rail travel, and a 25% discount on Greyhound bus trips. As well, ISIC provides reduced rates for accommodations, and admission to some of the world’s most renowned museums, historical sights and entertainment attractions around the world.

 

As a member of the Canadian Federation of Students, the cost of your ISIC is included with membership, while non-members purchase the card for $16. Please note: Only full-time students are eligible for the ISIC. Check www.isic.org for more information.

 

Pick up your free ISIC at the GSA office. Come by during office hours to complete an application form. The ISIC can be issued to you immediately, so please bring a current passport size photo and your Laurier One Card (WLU Student Card) when you visit the office.
