About the GSA

Male graduate student sitting with a laptop outside the dinning hallThe Wilfrid Laurier University Graduate Students’ Association is the student government representative of all graduate students at WLU. The GSA’s purpose is to foster graduate student community spirit through academic and social function, to provide graduate student representation with the academic community, and to provide information to graduate students regarding specific issues and concerns.

The Association serves as an advocate for graduate students’ concerns at the university level and on a provincial and national level as a member of the Canadian Federation of Students (CFS). The CFS was formed to provide students with an effective and united voice through strength in numbers. Its ultimate goal is to lobby for a system of high quality post-secondary education that is accessible to all.

We are located in the Arts Building, Room 2C11.
